Fall is here....

This Saturday we visited Rose's Orchards, a local farm, to enjoy a Haunted Hayride with some friends and their kids.

'Fall' (Autumn) is a big thing here, and of course we're just around the corner from Halloween, so all sorts of strange individuals have been appearing around town...
The hayride, courtesy of the farm owner and his tractor, was enjoyed by kids and adults alike....

Post hayride, and after careful inspection, Daniel took the opportunity to choose a pumpkin for our doorstep.

We now have to carve the damn thing in time for next Sunday, and have even invested in a pumpkin carving kit to assist us, as first timers! Watch this space for updates on Halloween 2010....

  1. Allow me to be the first to comment on your blog mate and congratulations on the news!

Glad you're not missing the Homeland too much! I think bacon could be sent over in return for free accommodation during ski season... Well jealous of Hogmanay in Vermont! Although, a mate and I are trying to get a trip over to Salt Lake City for some skiing this season at some point.

Anyway, congratulations again! Take care and always remember: it's petrol!
