Daniel's 2nd Birthday

Last Friday, we celebrated Daniel's second birthday with a trip to the 'North Pole'. Each Christmas the steam train that runs from the beautiful colonial town of Essex becomes the Polar Express.

The musical trip takes passengers to Santa's home, complete with elves, Mrs Claus and Santa himself, and plentiful helpings of hot chocolate and cookies. All small passengers were required to wear their favourite pyjamas.

Daniel has now had several encounters with Santa and is eagerly awaiting his visit on Christmas Eve.....
